Wow, what a year it's been.
Intertec began 2020 with one mission: to grow our business by making you—our customers, colleagues, and friends—as successful as possible. Little did we realize that a global pandemic was waiting in the wings to completely alter the global economy.
Like many businesses, Intertec faced its share of struggles early in the year. But our nearshore business model and our dedication to remote work as a strategy ultimately positioned us to recover and grow in spite of the obstacles.
Looking back, I'm extremely proud of what we accomplished in 2020: We grew our team of talented, dedicated engineers and other skilled workers. We grew our global footprint with offices in Medellin, Colombia. We added a new member, Frederid Palacios, to our leadership team as CTO.
Most importantly, we worked harder than ever to provide our clients the support they needed to transform their businesses. From full software refactorings to custom-built e-commerce platforms, we leveraged our skills, talent, and expertise more than ever to help our diverse slate of customers achieve their goals.
There are exciting things on the horizon for Intertec in 2021—from new product launches to more robust service offerings—and I trust and hope that many of you will play a big role on that journey going forward.
In the meantime, I'd like to extend my thanks and best wishes to everyone reading who's been part of our story—or has just been following along—throughout 2020. To all of you: happy holidays, merry Christmas, and happy New Year.
