INTERTEC TIMELINE

2002

Intertec was founded in Phoenix, Arizona by Rickard Hedeby, CEO, and key executives who envisioned a company that would become long-term partners with the Customers we serve.

2003

Launched a subsidiary in Costa Rica, and became one of the country’s pioneers in providing nearshore technology services.

2005-2015

Expanded the scope of technology services and solutions from Costa Rica, and created multiple technology partnerships, including long-term partnership with Microsoft.

2015-2022

Continued expansion of technology services, models, and locations, including launching a Nearshore Center in Medellin, Colombia.

2020-2022

Implemented an Information Security Management System and became certified in ISO 27001.
Continued Nearshore expansion with the opening of a Delivery Center in Mexico City, Mexico.
Expansion of Partnership with FPT Software

2023

FPT Software acquires majority interest in Intertec International, allowing secure access to nearshore technology delivery centers in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica with operational experience in Latin America (LATAM). This deal enables FPT Software to address its clients’ increasing demand for Agile software engineering and bridge the time zone differences between its IT professionals and customers.
